World Collage Day at Saint Kate

May 8

We invite guests to explore our special exhibition The Money $how, which highlights artists using collage to unpack ideas about money and its influence on our culture.

Guests may take self-guided tours through The Money $how or join Saint Kate Curator, Samantha Timm, for a guided tour and discussion around the exhibition. Guided tours limited to 15 guests to allow for social distancing.

On view from April 10th-August 10th, 2021 in Saint Kate's AIR Space gallery, The Money $how takes guests on a tour of late-stage capitalism. Artworks speak about Black wealth, immigrant remittances, and how mid-20th century advertising informs present-day attitudes. Artists collage dollar bills into flowers and mine material remnants to tell stories about home economics. Guest Curators Frank Juarez and Ric Kasini Kadour invite guests to consider cash, labor, and capital and their profuse influence in our contemporary life.

Interested in coming, but not quite sure what to expect? Click here to read the Saint Kate CleanCare Pledge which outlines how we have improved our already high standards to keep your health and safety top of mind.
